Gigi passed away on May 24, 2018
after a brave, five year hard-fought battle with cancer at the age of 67.
She is survived by husband Bruce Van Ornum, sons,
Julio Villamil, Ian Villamil, Pablo Villamil and daughter, Bettina Grund, as
well as six grandchildren, and step son, Ian Van Ornum and Rikke Van Ornum.
Also survived by many supportive extended family members and many many
wonderful and supportive friends.
Gigi was an amazing mother,
grandmother, wife and friend. She was someone who was always thinking about
others. She loved people, she loved laughing and she loved to have fun.
Memorial service will be held on Friday June 1 at 1 PM at the David Lee
Funeral Home, 1220 E Wayzata Blvd in Wayzata.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM. A light reception
will follow.
